Andrea Vasi & Maxime Gulikers
Maxime Gulikers (1994) studied at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague with Peter Brunt and Philippe Graffin. In October 2015 he went to Berlin to continue his studies at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler with Prof. Antje Weithaas and Prof. Stephan Picard. He obtained his Master’s degree there in April 2021.
Maxime attended many masterclasses with renowned pedagogues (eg Anner Bijlsma, Olivier Charlier, Miriam Fried, Eberhard Felz) and won numerous prizes at national and international violin competitions. In 2019 he was awarded the “Anton Kersjes Violin Prize”. As a soloist he played with renowned orchestras from Russia (performing
violinconcertos by Tchaikovsky, Bruch, Mozart) and the Netherlands (Sibelius, Dvorak, Bach, Vivaldi).
Andrea Vasi (1989) is a pianist and teacher of Dutch-Romanian descent. She is a passionate musician, a teacher of both music and primary schools, and a Buddhist, currently based in The Hague, the Netherlands.
