Duo Mader/Papandreopoulos
This piano/sax-duo is on fire. Not much music written for this combination, and the very reason may be these two instruments are a little challenging to mix. But Duo MP is doing something startling. Putting in an epic amount of achievement in playing as tight together as mankind can achieve with a dynamic reach that will simply knock your socks of. Listening to Andreas Mader and Christos Papandreopoulos performing the most difficult stuff written for sax and piano, never will give you the impression they’ll loose it. They’ll stay cool and take you far beyond those demanding notes.
